SageSURPASS was an award winner in the Industrial Application Category at the 2010 Victorian iAwards and named as a finalist in the national awards at this week’s presentation ceremony in Melbourne.
The iAwards are hosted by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA).
Jaala Pulford, Parliamentary Secretary for Industry and Trade, represented the ICT Minister at the awards ceremony and gave high praise to the outstanding talent on display. The Industrial Applications category recognises ICT innovation that delivers improved outcomes in industrial processes or activity. It may be any application of software and/or hardware that enables engineering automation, improves the effectiveness of product and service development or increases efficiency and productivity.
Judging criteria included: · Uniqueness, innovation and trend setting · Marketability · Functionalities and features · Quality and application of the technology including product stability and reliability
Sage Technology Managing Director, Lynda Bertoli, said the commendation was recognition of the significant investment that the company has made in developing SageSURPASS.
